This building was designed with multi-height load-bearing tilt-up construction, which enabled the swift and efficient shell construction schedule.
ABB is a technology and market leader in the manufacturing and maintenance of turbochargers for 500 kW to 80+ MW diesel and gas engines, who required a new facility in 2018. The new building design consisted of a new 9,500 square-foot facility containing a five-bay full manufacturing and production area, in addition to open and private offices, boardroom, lunch area, staff gym and locker area, parts storage and service counter. This building was designed with multi-height load-bearing tilt-up construction, which enabled the swift and efficient shell construction schedule. The insulated concrete panel construction was a solid solution for the durable, thermal and acoustic performance requirements of the Client. The manufacturing area contains large equipment, wash and paint facilities and a large drive-in loading bay.
